About me

Hi, I am Luca Parolini, an enthusiast photographer based in Munich, Germany.

My journey in the photographic world began a few years ago with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1. Today I mostly rely on a Nikon D7500 for my photos. My passion for photography has been fostered by the fantastic synergy that technology and art show in this field. The photographer is the one having the vision that has to be made into a photo. Technology gives the photographer the instruments necessary for capturing his vision.

While technology is a commodity that can be easily bought, getting the artistic part is definitely more complicated. Some individuals just have it and are naturally inclined to see the world in a way that leads to great shots. Others, like me, have to keep on practicing and on learning from mistakes and from best-in-class. Luckily, the digital revolution has made this approach rather inexpensive and definitely enjoyable.

When I am not trying to improve my artistic skills, I spend my time with my wife Ann-Marie and our little son Matteo. Fortunately, taking  photos and enjoying time with my family are two activities that can go well hand in hand and this makes everything easier.

Best,

Luca
